A Caring Hand's staff:
The difference in services for the elderly.

From companions and homemakers to live-in caregivers, training sets A Caring Hand apart.

You’ve decided to bring A Caring Hand into your family’s life. But what are your choices for senior care in the Greater Hartford area?

Please contact us to learn about:

  • A companion who becomes a friend and helper.
  • A homemaker who takes care of housekeeping, meals and medication reminders, and helps with socialization.
  • A personal care assistant who provides hands-on care for people facing challenges of daily living—with Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) training, to do it right.
  • A live-in caregiver. Unlike other agencies, our caregivers must have completed training as a CNA or HHA.

A Caring Hand also provides caregivers equipped with special training in the many forms of dementia and in hospice. Unlike other providers, we require our staff to have prior experience. We also offer Lifeline, which provides 24-hour access to emergency help at the push of a button.
